It looks as though the heatwave missed Borth today. It didn't even make it to 17C here while elsewhere in the UK everyone was sweltering with temps up to 35.9C!!

We didn't get a glimpse of the sun either, but I still went out for a pleasant little paddle in my ski. I managed it today without falling off as well, but there was no surf to contend with and no swell either really.

Just as I was about to pack up and go home, I saw a sailing dinghy with blue sails in the distance off towards the estuary, so I paddled over to it hoping it was Harvey. Sure enough it was. He'd been sailing around the Dovey Estuary all day, and after he had a little laugh at me on a ski, we had a chat before he sailed off towards Borth and I went home... Carrying the ski to and from the house is a bit of an effort, but I'm sure its good for me.
